Site Revision
By Cari Jansen | December 30, 2007
It’s almost becoming an annual event… a site revision.
This one is a major upgrade. Now working with Wordpress and totally database driven content. Rather than building everything from scratch I’ve done what most Wordpressers do… used an existing Wordpress theme and made my own amendments to it.
It makes maintaining my site less work and hopefully that will result in more posts in the coming months. I always have tons of plans, just never seem to have enough time for everything!
As a result of the conversion some links might not be fully functional. If you encounter any issues please drop me a line and I’ll do my best to correct things a.s.a.p.
The conversion is an ongong thing currently:
- NEW! posts are open for commenting
- all digitip conversions (April 2003 - Dec 2007) are complete
- all 2007-posts conversions are complete.
- css and theme amendments, will be ongoing for some time, but I’ll try and minimise negative impact on site functionality when making these.

Cari, Looks quite good. Always nice to get tips and info from you so site in some ways is secondary to your great content. I’d suggest making some of those gray (grey) titles/subtitles a bit darker/bolder as they appear a bit faint.
Look forward to news on both Illustrator and InDesign in 2008.
Have a great year,
Gary.
