Mark Colvin (ABC – the Full Story), interviews Richard Freudenstein, chief executive of News Digital Media and The Australian, and talks about News Corp’s move towards paid online content [audio | transcript] … “Price for overall package not yet known, but the Apps will be priced at $7.99”. Freudenstein thinks “there is a lot of life left in the printing products, although newspaper circulation in Australia will decline. This is why newspapers must develop their digital business, so that they can develop new revenue streams”.
